Cubs Clean Sox

Cubs starting pitcher Jeff Samardzija cleaned out the Sox last night with a 2 hit shutout, the first shutout of his career.

It was a great game to watch on, as the Cubs played flawless baseball. If there were flaws on the Cubs side, the Official Scorer didn’t see it that way with no errors posted for the Cubs.

More details on the Cubs win in game one of the Crosstown Cup between the Cubs, and Whitesox on The Official Cubs Web Page.

Game two scheduled for tonight at U.S. Cellular Field. Games three, and four at the Cubs Crossings, and Wrigley Field, on Wednesday, and Thursday.
