One bitter pill to swallow on Friday, is not a reason to fill the Phillies with some healing throughout the weekend during a bad year for the Phillies.
Okay. HR knocked in the 10th without a response from the Cubs allowed a win by Philadelphia in last night’s game. There’s more on the
Cubs Official Home Page.
Keep in mind, even though the Phillies are having a particularly poor performance so far this year, we’re still referring to professional MLB level players so, it is not time for a psychological day off.
Jon Lester got the start. Lester is extremely effective. Look at his ERA. He never seems to get the bench behind him, though.
All of that is yesterday’s news, and let’s just move it along. There’s more baseball to be played as the Cubs take the field at Wrigley in just a few minutes against Philadelphia.
…..and remember….no Re-Phils!
