Russell Shorts Out For NLCS

Addison Russell will have to miss the NLCS with an injury to the hamstring.  However, no worries as Javier Baez will sub for him at SS.

First things first.  The Cubs must beat the Dodgers or Mets in the NLCS, and once advancing to the October Classic Addison Russell should be ready.

Tonight’s the night.  We’ll find out which team the Cubs play in the NLCS as the Dodgers & Mets square off at Dodger Stadium for game 5 of their divisional contest.

Jon Lester is on the schedule for game one with Arrieta to follow in game two of the NLCS.  I imagine, Hammel, and Hendricks would follow.

Joe Maddon has nothing set in cement for position players.  But then, you knew that because it is outlined on the Cubs Home Page.

So, all of this, and who gets the call up for the NLCS as a roster position becomes available?
