Cubs Split With Split

Expanded rosters, split-squads, and play against two different teams in one day.

Everybody’s in, and the Managers try to break this down to a smaller roster for the regular season.

The Cubs are no stranger to this kind of activity.  Spring Training means everybody’s got a shot.

Right now, Cubs Manager, Joe Maddon must feel like a kid in a candy store.  The talent pool on this squad is humongous.

Yesterday’s competitive workouts consisted of a 1 win, 1 loss split with a split squad.  A win over the Whitesox, and a loss to the Dodgers.

Today’s Spring action has the Cubs playing the As.
